CHESTERFIELD, Mo., April 18 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Reliv
International, Inc. (Nasdaq: RELV), a developer, manufacturer and marketer
of a proprietary line of nutritional supplements, today announced
promotions for two top executives.
R. Scott Montgomery was named executive vice president and chief
operating officer, and Dr. Carl W. Hastings was appointed vice chairman of
the board and chief scientific officer.

critical roles in Reliv's success. The advancements underscore the board's
confidence in their leadership," said Robert L. Montgomery, chairman, chief
executive officer and president of Reliv International.
In his new position, R. Scott Montgomery, 37, is responsible for
day-to-day operations of Reliv. Previously, Montgomery was senior vice
president of worldwide operations, and he played a key role in Reliv's
recent growth. He has held a variety of positions since joining the company
in 1993. He is a graduate of Missouri State University (formerly Southwest
Missouri State University) and is the son of Robert Montgomery.
As Chief Scientific Officer, Dr. Carl Hastings leads Reliv's research
and development, quality control, manufacturing, shipping and receiving
operations. He also was named vice chairman of the board in recognition of
the vital role he plays in the company's strategic direction. Hastings, 65,
previously was vice president of Reliv. Hastings joined Reliv in 1991. He
holds a doctorate in food science from the University of Illinois.
