(NYSE: BOR) today announced that S. Jay Stewart has been elected to its board
of directors.
Mr. Stewart is the retired chairman and chief executive officer of Morton
International, Inc., having held that position from 1994 to 1999. Prior to
that, Mr. Stewart worked for Thiokol Corporation from 1973 until 1983 when it
was acquired by Morton. He served as president and chief operating officer of
Morton Thiokol, Inc. from 1986 to 1989 and president and chief operating
officer of Morton International from 1989 to 1994.
He is a director of Household International, Inc., Autoliv, Inc., and a
trustee of Rush - Presbyterian - St. Luke's Medical Center, Lake Forest/Rush
Corporation, the Museum of Science and Industry and the Lyric Opera of
Chicago. He is a member of The Chicago Committee, The Executive's Club of
Chicago, The Commercial Club, The Economic Club and The Mid-America Committee.
