Pizzo to Assume Chairman Role
NEW YORK, April 19 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Wells Fargo Century, a
subsidiary of Wells Fargo Foothill and part of Wells Fargo & Company (NYSE:
WFC), announced today that Executive Vice President Stuart Brister has been
named president and CEO of the New York-based factoring and trade finance
firm. Brister, currently southeast regional manager, succeeds Tom Pizzo,
who becomes chairman of the business.
In his role as southeast regional manager, Brister helped assemble a
team of lenders with extensive experience in asset-based lending and
factoring, helping to grow the business beyond its original operations
through new offices in Atlanta, Charlotte, Miami and Greensboro.
Reporting to Brister will be Chief Operating Officer Tony Aloi, Western
Regional Manager Kevin Sullivan, Northeast Sales Manager Steve Giannetta,
and head of International Operations, Tracy Hanson.

demonstrated his aptitude for developing business relationships in the
factoring community and I am pleased to entrust Century to such a capable

Brister has more than twenty years of experience in the factoring and
commercial finance industries. Before joining Wells Fargo, he was president
of the Commercial Services Division of GMAC Commercial Finance, and also
held the similar position at Bank of America. He is a member of the Atlanta
Venture Forum, Association for Corporate Growth as well as the M&A Advisory
Group and holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from the
University of Georgia.
