Raytheon Awarded $237 million U.S. Navy Contract for Integrated Ship Defense Systems Engineering
    RESTON, Va., April 21 /PRNewswire/ -- Raytheon Technical Services Company
LLC (RTSC), a subsidiary of Raytheon Company (NYSE: RTN), has been awarded a
10-year contract with a potential value of $237 million, including options, by
the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Port Hueneme Division, for integrated ship
defense systems engineering services.
    Under the contract, RTSC will provide engineering, technical and logistics
services in support of Integrated Ship Defense Systems Engineering for the
Ship Defense & Expeditionary Warfare Department in its role as the in-services
engineering agent for the self defense systems. RTSC will provide asset
staging and installation support services necessary to accomplish
modernizations, installations, repair and technical support. In addition, RTSC
will provide combat system and weapon system in-service engineering,
documentation and technical services and system integration. Work is expected
to extend through May 2014 and will be performed in Port Hueneme, Calif., at
land-based test sites, and on board U.S. Navy ships and ships sold to foreign
countries by the United States.
