DALLAS, April 22 /PRNewswire/ -- EPS Wireless Inc. (EPS), a wholly owned
subsidiary of Preferred Networks, Inc. (Nasdaq: PFNT) (PNI), announced it has
signed a contract with the Wireless Access Group, a division of Glenayre
Technologies, Inc., to provide warranty pager repair and refurbishment
services. This repair services contract establishes EPS as a certified
warranty service provider for the Wireless Access Group's AccessMate(TM)
product, a new word-messaging acknowledgment pager that operates over the
ReFLEX(TM) network and is currently expected to be available in the second
quarter of 1998.
EPS has been providing top quality repair services to the wireless
industry since 1987. The Company believes EPS is one of the five largest
independent wireless product repair facilities in the U.S., serving over 800
companies, including nine of the twenty largest paging companies. EPS offers
