electronic purse on Oberthur Card Systems' smart cards at
CardTech/SecurTech April 23-25, 2002, in New Orleans, LA, in the
Identix Booth 873. Eliminating the need for a pin number, the
card will feature Identix fingerprint authentication technology
for verifying the true owner and allowing access to the card's
financial content.
Allowing maximum portability and convenience, all information can
be stored on the card to enable authorization for both online and
in-person transactions. If the card is lost or stolen no one else
can access the data on the card.
