PITTSBURGH, April 24 /PRNewswire/ -- After officially closing the books
on 2006, Vocollect, Inc., the world leader in Voice-Directed Work,
announced today that it reached the $100 million revenue milestone -- a
voice industry first.

Other firsts for Vocollect in 2006 included establishing Vocollect
Japan, Inc. as a wholly-owned subsidiary and expanding beyond the supply
chain arena through the creation of Vocollect Healthcare Systems, which
provides Voice- Assisted Care products to improve documentation,
communication and quality of care in skilled nursing facilities.
Vocollect's business outside of North America continued with rapid
expansion in Europe, which now represents one-third of the company's
activity. Vocollect Europe grew its core reseller business in 2006 by over
20 percent, expanded into new countries including Poland, Israel, Hungary,
Greece and Slovenia, and reached the milestone of over 50,000 end-users. In
Latin America and Asia Pacific, Vocollect continued expansion through its
reseller network with major retailers in Mexico, Brazil, Australia and New
Zealand.

announce that Byford has been appointed chief operating officer. "Working

recently, Byford held the role of president, Vocollect Healthcare Systems.
