Corporation (NYSE: CRE) today announced the promotion of three senior managers
in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area: Sean Warfield to Senior General
Manager (in downtown Washington, D.C.); Sharon Fitzgerald to Senior General
Manager (in Suburban Washington, D.C.); and Glenn Hugo to General Manager (in
Suburban Washington, D.C.).

CarrAmerica Director of Operations in Suburban Washington, D.C., Paul
Davis, commented on the promotions, "As CarrAmerica continues to grow, both
downtown and in the Washington, D.C. suburbs, Sean, Sharon and Glenn will
provide the strong experience and leadership necessary to operate our
approximately 11 million square foot owned and/or managed office portfolio."

Sean Warfield, who started his career at CarrAmerica in 1996, will oversee
1.8 million square feet of office space in downtown Washington, D.C. Mr.
Warfield has been a General Manager for CarrAmerica since April 2004,
overseeing the operation of 1.4 million square feet of office space in the
central business district. Mr. Warfield is a Board member and program
committee co-chairperson of the African American Real Estate Professionals, a
member of the Apartment and Office Building Association of Metropolitan
Washington, a judge for the Apartment and Office Building Association's Office
Building of the Year (TOBY) Awards and is a CCIM candidate.
In her new role, Sharon Fitzgerald will oversee 2.3 million square feet of
office properties for CarrAmerica in Suburban Washington, D.C. Ms. Fitzgerald
has been a CarrAmerica General Manager since January 1995. She has overseen
the management of a number of CarrAmerica properties including portfolios in
Reston, Virginia, Washington, D.C. and San Jose, California. Ms. Fitzgerald
is a Certified Property Manager as well as a Real Property Administrator.
Glenn Hugo will now handle the operations responsibilities for 1.5 million
square feet of office space for CarrAmerica, also in the Suburban Washington,
D.C. area. Mr. Hugo joined CarrAmerica's management team in December 2003 as
a Senior Property Manager. Since April 2004, Mr. Hugo's responsibilities
expanded to include CarrAmerica's 1.3 million square foot Rosslyn/Ballston
corridor portfolio. Mr. Hugo is an active member of the Apartment and Office
Building Association of Metropolitan Washington and has been an instructor for
RPA classes and a local and international Office Building of the Year (TOBY)
judge. Mr. Hugo is also a Real Property Administrator and a CCIM candidate.
