Conversion (Nasdaq: APCC) (APC), a leading global provider of end-to-end

"Innovation, whether in the data center, at the desktop, in the
channel, or with our training programs, highlighted the extensive list of
awards presented to APC in the first quarter," said Aaron L. Davis, vice
president worldwide marketing and communications. "Challenging ourselves to
deliver superior products for our users, superior programs for our partners
and superior processes for our organization drives the consistent high
level of recognition APC receives."
For the first time, Training magazine named APC to its "Top 100" list
for excellence in APC's Field Service training. The Training Top 100 is the
only ranking of companies that excel at developing human capital. The list
is determined by assessing a range of qualitative and quantitative factors.
APC is the only manufacturer of uninterruptible power supplies (UPSs) and
associated availability solutions included in the 2006 list.
"APC and APC Global Services remain focused on bringing the best
education possible to our employees, partners and customers," said Carl
Cottuli, general manager of APC Global Services. "Through our customer
loyalty training program, APC employees learn how to create delighted
customers, and there is no more critical role in creating delighted APC
customers than solving real network-critical physical infrastructure (NCPI)
problems for our customers."
InfraStruXure, APC's revolutionary on-demand architecture for
network-critical physical infrastructure (NCPI), was a stand out in the
first quarter, winning six awards. APC's new InfraStruXure InRow RC data
center cooling unit recently was named a "Best of FOSE" award winner by the
editors of Government Computer News (GCN) magazine and its sister
publication Washington Technology. The "Best of FOSE" award recognizes new
and groundbreaking products and solutions in the government IT industry.
Also in the U.S., Electronic Products magazine named InfraStruXure a
"Product of the Year" in its 30th Annual Product of the Year issue.
Internationally, Top Business Magazine readers in Brazil named
InfraStruXure a "Readers' Choice" for network physical infrastructure and,
in Spain, Byte magazine reviewers presented InfraStruXure with its
"Recommended" rating. Finally, several publications in Kenya identified
InfraStruXure as a premiere solution for 2006. BusinessWeek and Commerce
and Industry in Kenya named InfraStruXure "Best Innovation of the Year
2006" and "Best Infrastructure Solution of the Year 2006," respectively.
At the other end of the product spectrum, such as addressing AV and
desktop PC requirements, APC's S Type Power Conditioner with Battery Backup
for AV applications was "Recommended" in the Audioholics Home Theater
Systems Guide. APC's Biometric Password Manager won a Bronze Award for
mobile security in SearchMobileComputer.com's "Products of the Year"
awards, and the East & Central African Business Mirrow in Kenya recognized
the Biometric Password Manager, naming it one of the publication's
"Innovative Technology Solutions for 2005." Additionally, PC Consument in
the Netherlands named APC's Back-UPS(R) CS350 a "Best Buy for Consumers."
APC's leadership in the IT channels contributed to its selection for
several prestigious awards during the quarter. For the thirteenth
consecutive year, APC was named CRN "Channel Champion" as the top vendor in
the UPS category. The CRN Channel Champion study measures overall business
and technology integrator perceptions of vendor products and services. The
survey is the largest and broadest-based technology integrator market study
in the industry. The result is a premier resource used by business and
technology integrators throughout the industry to evaluate vendors and
their programs. And, for the third year in a row, APC was named CRN Channel
Champion in the UPS category in Brazil.
Additionally, VARBusiness and GovernmentVAR magazines recognized APC as

VARBusiness magazine's annual program guide acknowledged APC for the
commitment and strength of its programs for IT integrators, resellers and
consultants. In addition, APC has received the prominent five-star
recognition for GovernmentVAR magazines first annual program guide.
