(PDL) (Nasdaq: PDLI) today announced that it will host live webcasts in
conjunction with the release of the company's first quarter 2006 financial
results on May 2 and its First Annual Business Update for the financial
community on May 5. The Business Update will include a review of PDL's
three marketed products and future commercial opportunities.
First Quarter Financial Results
Financial results for PDL's first quarter ended March 31, 2006 will be
released following the close of the U.S. financial markets on Tuesday, May
2, 2006. PDL will hold a conference call to discuss these financial
results, its commercial and clinical activities and its forward-looking
information and guidance with respect to future results at 4:30 p.m.
Eastern time on May 2, 2006. Participants on the call will include Mark
McDade, Chief Executive Officer; Andrew Guggenhime, Senior Vice President
and Chief Financial Officer; and Dr. Steven Benner, Senior Vice President
and Chief Medical Officer.
A live webcast of the conference call will be available through the PDL
