WESTPORT, Conn., April 28 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- VogtGoldstein launched
the newest advertising campaign for its client, Oxford Health Plans, Inc.,
focusing on Oxford's commitment to pushing past everyday expectations of a
health plan. The print ads, which begin appearing tomorrow, use a unique
visual technique, alternating toned images with multiple proof points to
express Oxford's business strategy, starting with the premise, "What if we
stopped here?" Radio and outdoor advertising will be launched in the upcoming
weeks.

"Oxford has always dug deeper and pushed further to create programs,
products and services that go beyond the status quo in healthcare, bringing
more value to our members," Chuck Green, vice president of marketing for
Oxford, said. "Our new advertising campaign reflects that commitment to
finding better solutions for our members by illustrating how we look at
healthcare affordability, disease management and administrative
simplification, for example."
"Oxford's brand was built on the attributes of quality, service, choice
and innovation," said Jeff Vogt, VogtGoldstein's executive creative director.
"Oxford is a health plan that seeks out unexplored areas, looking inside the
company as well as outside, for new solutions and perspectives. This campaign
reflects Oxford's philosophy to push past the point where, in general, the
expectation stops."
Ads in the series will be directed to both consumers and businesses,
addressing topics such as keeping healthcare affordable, managing chronic
illnesses, advancing technology, physician network and customer service. The
print campaign will launch with an ad focused on Oxford's Better Breathing(R)
program for people with asthma. Oxford doesn't just stop at providing members
with basic information about the condition but they also receive facts about
asthma medications, have access to top physicians, can obtain free peak-flow
meters and more.
The campaign will begin appearing in local newspapers and trade
publications on Tuesday, April 29, 2003. In addition to advertising in
Oxford's core market, the company also will advertise in publications in
upstate Connecticut, central and southern New Jersey and later this year, in
New York's Hudson Valley region. Oxford also will begin advertising in
Pennsylvania and Delaware later this spring.
Oxford has worked with the Agency since 1993. VogtGoldstein is the lead
agency for the Trumbull-based healthcare organization.
