FORT WORTH, Texas, April 30 /PRNewswire/ -- Snyder Oil Corporation
(NYSE: SNY) (SOCO) today announced the hiring of John M. Thibeaux as Vice
President - Corporate Development.
Mr. Thibeaux comes to Snyder with over 25 years experience in engineering,
planning and acquisitions. For the last eight years, Mr. Thibeaux was Vice
President Engineering and Acquisitions for J.P. Morgan Petroleum Funds in
Houston, Texas. Previously, he held various reservoir engineering and
management positions with Tenneco Oil Company, the U.S. Navy Petroleum
Reserves and Atlantic Richfield Co. Mr. Thibeaux earned a B.S. in Petroleum
Engineering from the University of Southwestern Louisiana and an M.B.A. from
the University of Houston.
In announcing the appointment, W.G. Hargett, President, commented,
