RENO, Nev., April 30 /PRNewswire/ -- Reno Air will begin its expanded West
Coast flight schedule on May 1, introducing new service between Orange
County's John Wayne International Airport (SNA) and San Francisco
International Airport (SFO), with five nonstop daily roundtrips. The West
Coast service expansion will also include an additional roundtrip between Los
Angeles (LAX) and San Jose (SJC), one additional roundtrip between Los Angeles
and San Francisco, increasing the total in both markets to nine nonstop daily
roundtrips. Service between Seattle (SEA) and Anchorage (ANC) will also be
expanded from one daily roundtrip to two effective May 1, and another
roundtrip flight will be added May 21, bringing the total to three daily
nonstop roundtrips.
"We are adding these flights to satisfy the needs of our business
travelers on the West Coast," said Joanne Smith, Reno Air's senior vice
president marketing and planning. "With our new expanded service, we will now
offer more flights from Orange County to the Bay Area than any other airline
and added convenience for our Los Angeles customers."
Reno Air QQuick Miles and American Airlines AAdvantage members earn triple
American Airlines AAdvantage Miles on flights along the West Coast.
Qualifying markets include San Jose -- Orange County, San Francisco
-- Los Angeles, San Francisco -- Orange County, and Los Angeles -- San Jose
through May 30, 1999. AAdvantage members can also earn double American
Airlines AAdvantage Miles through June 30, 1999 on flights between Seattle and
Anchorage.
Reno Air is a subsidiary of American Airlines, and serves 15 cities
particularly in the Western United States.
