    IRVINE, Calif., May 1 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ --
Interplay Entertainment Corp. (Nasdaq: IPLY), announced today its lineup of
highly anticipated game titles to be shown at this year's Electronic
Entertainment Expo (E3) taking place May 22 - 24 at the Los Angeles Convention
Center. Interplay will be showing demonstrations of Hunter: The Reckoning(R),
Run Like Hell(TM), Baldur's Gate(TM): Dark Alliance(TM) and Galleon(TM).
Black Isle Studios, the renown, role-playing game (RPG) division of Interplay,
will be showing (by appointment only) Icewind Dale(TM) II, and an exciting,
new RPG title to be announced in the coming weeks. Interplay's booth will be
located in Concourse Hall, booth #5010.
Hunter: The Reckoning, an exclusive title for the Xbox(TM) video game
system by Microsoft, is a thrilling action-adventure game based on the
mysterious characters and spine-tingling fiction found in the popular role-
playing game Hunter: The Reckoning and the mystifying World of Darkness(TM)
universe in which it is based. Developed by High Voltage Software, Inc. for
Digital Mayhem using the AtlasTech Game Engine(TM) licensed technology, Hunter
is based on the popular license from White Wolf Publishing, Inc. Hunter: The
Reckoning has just been approved for manufacturing and is scheduled to ship
the week of May 20.
Icewind Dale II for the PC, in development internally at Black Isle
Studios, offers a classic dungeon crawl experience, using the new Third
Edition Dungeons & Dragons(R) license from Wizards of the Coast. Based in
part on the series of books by New York Times best-selling author R.A.
Salvatore, Icewind Dale II will amaze players with new monsters, spells, and
areas to explore within the popular FORGOTTEN REALMS(R) campaign setting.
Run Like Hell (RLH) brings a whole new breed of action-terror game to the
PlayStation(R)2 computer entertainment system. RLH is a groundbreaking, hair-
raising experience that takes players to an ordinary mining space station, the
Forsetti, which soon becomes anything but ordinary after a terrifying species
of aliens invade the outpost. Your goal is to eliminate as many of the nasty
creatures as you can, grab your loved ones and get the hell off the station!
The game features incredible graphics, fast-paced console action plus the
voice talents of Lance Henriksen, Kate Mulgrew and Michael Ironside.
From the creator and lead designer of Lara Croft(R) and the original Tomb
Raider(R) comes a new breed of hero in Galleon(TM): Islands of Mystery, an
exciting action-adventure game developed for release on the Xbox video game
system. Set across six unique islands, this epic adventure takes Rhama
Sabrier, the dashing captain of the Endeavor, from the bustling port of Akbah
to islands populated with giant monsters, evil slave lords and, of course,
damsels in distress in a story of intrigue, suspense, romance, obsession and
revenge.
Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance for the Xbox features a distinctive blend of
action and adventure set in the most popular Dungeons & Dragons(R) campaign
setting: The FORGOTTEN REALMS(R) franchise owned by Wizards of the Coast Inc.,
