And Risk Systems
NEW YORK, May 3 /PRNewswire/ -- SunGard Trading and Risk Systems, an
operating group of SunGard (NYSE: SDS), today announced that it has acquired

research, development and implementation efforts of Credient, SunGard's
comprehensive service for global credit risk management and control, delivered
via an application service provider (ASP) framework.
Under terms of the acquisition, AND will become part of SunGard Trading
and Risk Systems. The team of expert credit risk developers and project
managers will continue operations at the Oxford research and development
center, focusing on the development, quality assurance and professional
services of Credient. The Credient service provides a total, real-time, credit
risk solution for global exposure aggregation and limits management, credit
risk analytics, collateral management and Web-based communications.
The team will continue to be led by Brad Impey, who has over 15 years of
experience in the financial risk management arena. He was previously the
managing director of software development at AND. David Blakes, the founder
and chairman of AND, will be the head of professional services.
David Rowe, senior vice president, risk management, at SunGard Trading and

and practical application, with ongoing relationships with research experts in
quantitative finance, mathematics, physics and engineering at Oxford
University. The combination of Credient with AND ensures that we can continue
to provide to our clients a world-class service for global credit limit
management, risk analysis and collateral management."
Jim Ashton, chief executive officer of SunGard Trading and Risk Systems,
