TULSA, Okla., May 3 /PRNewswire/ -- Newton, O'Connor & Turner is pleased
to announce that Daniel R. Ketchum, II, has been admitted as a shareholder of
the firm, and that the firm's name is now Newton, O'Connor, Turner & Ketchum,
P.C. The firm specializes in employment and labor law, business transactions
and litigation and business succession and estate planning.
Mr. Ketchum, a Stillwater, Oklahoma native, graduated from Oklahoma State
University in 1986 with a B.S. in Accounting. He received his law degree with
distinction from the University of Oklahoma in 1993. Prior to law school,
Mr. Ketchum obtained his certificate as a certified public accountant and
worked as an auditor for the international accounting firm of Ernst & Young.
Mr. Ketchum's practice is concentrated in the areas of business formation,
business transactions and business succession and estate planning.
The firm is also pleased to announce that Christopher S. Thrutchley has
become associated with the firm. Mr. Thrutchley received his law degree with
high honors from the University of Tulsa College of Law in 1993 and
specializes in representing management in employment and labor law issues. He
joins the firm after serving as a human resources director for one of Tulsa's
largest employers and having specialized in litigation for seven years.
In addition, Steven K. Bunting has become of counsel to the firm.
Mr. Bunting is a 1977 graduate of the University of Oklahoma School of Law and
specializes in the representation of employers in defense of workers'
compensation claims.
