MTV Networks Appoints Paul Rourke Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, MTV Networks International

NEW YORK, NY UNITED STATES
    NEW YORK, May 3 /PRNewswire/ -- MTV Networks (MTVN), a unit of Viacom
(NYSE: VIA and VIA.B), has appointed Paul Rourke as Senior Vice President
and Chief Financial Officer, MTV Networks International (MTVNI). In his new
role, Rourke will be a key member of the international senior management
team, with responsibility for all financial functions and matters across
all regional operations and business units. Rourke will continue to be
based in New York, and report to Colette Chestnut, Executive Vice President
and Chief Financial Officer, MTVN and Alex Ferrari, Chief Operating
Officer, MTVNI.

restructuring of its international organization to focus resources in high

    Rourke joined MTVN in July 2006, as Senior Vice President, Corporate
Finance. In this role, he was responsible for the company's cash
management, global treasury operations and financial operations of MTVN's
robust global consumer products business. Prior to joining MTVN, Rourke
worked as Senior Vice President of Treasury Operations for CBS Radio, one
of the largest major- market radio operators in the United States. Rourke
has also served as Treasurer of Scient Inc., a New York-based tech
consulting firm, and held a variety of finance positions at marketing and
communications company Young & Rubicam Inc.
    MTV Networks International is one of the fastest growing units of MTV
Networks, which has the world's largest portfolio of media brands, with 135
TV channels and more than 200 digital media services. MTV is the most
