HAIFA, Israel, May 4 /PRNewswire/ -- Elscint Ltd. (NYSE: ELT), a
subsidiary of Elbit Medical Imaging Ltd. (Nasdaq: EMITF), announced today that
following the closing of the sale of Elron Electronic Industries Ltd.
(Nasdaq: ELRNF) shares in Elbit Medical Imaging Ltd. to Europe Israel (MMS
Ltd.) the following directors were appointed to Elscint:
* Mordechai Zisser -- Chairman and President of Europe Israel Ltd.
* Gideon Bar On -- General Manager, Adam Bar On Ltd. (a real estate
company)
* Ephraim Bernad -- General Manager, Softov Ltd. (a software company)
* Amos Pickel, Esq. -- President, Red Sea Hotels
* Shimon Yitzchaki -- VP Europe Israel
* Rachel Lavine -- VP Europe Israel
It was also announced that the following Elscint directors have resigned
from office: Uzia Galil, Yigal Baruchi, Dr. Michael Enghel, Amos Horev, and
Prof. Ernest Lubin.
