TechTV's Long-Running Videogame Show X-Play Will Air 'The Best of E3' on
May 27 with Additional Coverage Airing on the Network's Other Popular Series
the Screen Savers and Tech Live
X-Play hosts Adam Sessler and Morgan Webb to Make Appearances at E3
SAN FRANCISCO, May 6 /PRNewswire/ -- TechTV, the cable network available
to 40 million subscribers in the United States, will be dedicating airtime
spanning nearly two weeks to coverage of next week's Electronic Entertainment
Expo (E3). Adam Sessler, host of the long-running, popular videogame review
show X-Play (formerly Extended Play), and co-host Morgan Webb will be at the
show taking place at the Los Angeles Convention Center
May 14 - 16. Adam and Morgan will meet with fans and provide on-site coverage
of the massive show, including a special "Best of E3" edition of X-Play. In
addition, E3 coverage will be featured on The Screen Savers, Tech Live and
Fresh Gear.
"TechTV was one of the first to acknowledge videogames as an entertainment
sector as important as music, television and film by dedicating a series to

X-Play will dedicate four shows to coverage of E3, with all four episodes
being taped on location. The first E3 shows will air on Wednesday, May 21,
Thursday, May 22, and Monday, May 26, all at 11:30 p.m. Eastern, with the
fourth and final show being "The Best of E3" and airing on Tuesday, May 27,
at 11:30 p.m. Eastern. "The Best of E3" will feature X-Play's own awards for
the best new games for the Xbox, the PC, the GameCube and the PS2, as well as
best original game and several other "creative" categories.
The Screen Savers, which airs daily at 7 p.m. Eastern, will also include
E3 coverage on Friday, May 16, and Monday, May 19. Tech Live, which airs
daily at 8 p.m. Eastern, will feature the latest news from the floor of the LA
Convention Center on Tuesday, May 13, Wednesday, May 14, Thursday, May 15, and
Friday, May 16. Finally, Fresh Gear will air the latest and greatest products
of the show Tuesday, May 20, at 8:30 p.m. Eastern.
