Companies Team Up to Provide New Solutions to K-12 Education Market
SAN MATEO, Calif., May 7 /PRNewswire/ -- Anyware Mobile Solutions, a
mobile data and forms management platform company, and AlphaSmart, Inc., a
provider of affordable computing solutions for education, today announced a
strategic relationship to provide new solutions to the K-12 education market.
Anyware and AlphaSmart aim to extend the capabilities of the Dana by
AlphaSmart -- an affordable laptop alternative, powered by Palm OS(R) and
popular within the education market due to its durability, oversized screen,
light weight, long battery life, and full-sized integrated keyboard. Anyware's
Reform(TM) solution is a combination of a standardized data collection
application for PDAs and a complementary set of services that economically
enable data management. Reform can be used on the Dana to offer educators and
students affordable, innovative features available on a wide screen, making
remote data collection and sharing among students easier than ever before.
