MAUMEE, Ohio, May 7 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- The Andersons, Inc.
(Nasdaq: ANDE) announces production has begun at the 110-million gallon
ethanol plant, owned by The Andersons Clymers Ethanol LLC, in Clymers,
Indiana.

Construction on the facility, which is the largest, dry-mill ethanol
plant east of the Mississippi, began during the first quarter of 2006. ICM,
Inc., an industry leader in ethanol technology and plant construction,
served as the designer and general contractor of the $146 million project.
"Although poor weather conditions this year impacted construction, we
are pleased the delay was minimized and we have a state-of-the-art facility
in operation," adds Anderson.
Along with the 110 million gallons of ethanol, the plant will produce
350,000 tons of distillers dried grains, an animal feed ingredient,
annually.
The Andersons, Inc., a 37 percent equity investor in The Andersons
Clymers Ethanol LLC, will manage the facility and also will provide grain
origination, risk management, and DDG and ethanol marketing services.
