DUBLIN, Ohio, May 7 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Cardinal Health, a global
provider of products and services that improve the safety and productivity
of health care, today announced its board of directors has approved a 17
percent increase in the company's quarterly dividend, to $0.14 per share.
The regular quarterly dividend is payable on July 15 to shareholders of
record on July 1. Cardinal Health has paid a 12-cents-per-share quarterly
dividend since July 15, 2007 and has raised the dividend from $0.03 per
share since 2005.
The dividend is the 95th consecutive regular quarterly dividend for
Cardinal Health. The company had approximately 357 million shares
outstanding as of April 30.
