Anadarko Announces Multiyear Global Agreement With Landmark

 New Strategic Relationship Advances Exploration and Production Capabilities

    HOUSTON, May 8 /PRNewswire/ -- Anadarko Petroleum Corporation (NYSE: APC)
announced today that it has signed a multiyear agreement with Landmark
Graphics Corporation, a wholly owned business unit of Halliburton Company
(NYSE: HAL), which will expand Anadarko's capability to find, produce and
manage oil and gas reserves.
    The Landmark Global Access Agreement is a three-year agreement that will
allow virtually unlimited access to most of Landmark's exploration and
development, drilling and technical engineering software and applications.
Landmark will also supply technical support, training and consulting services
to Anadarko's offices worldwide.
    "The agreement with Landmark will give Anadarko explorationists and
engineers the immediate use of the tools necessary to sustain our increased
level of exploration and development activity," said Morris Helbach, Vice

in workflow and compatibility offered from an integrated set of exploration,
engineering and drilling technologies."
