Agreement Allows CeriStar to Deliver Entertainment Programming,
Telecommunications, High Speed Internet & Other Integrated Services Over a
Fiber Optic Network to Create a 'Smart' Community in Pleasant Grove, Utah
SALT LAKE CITY, May 8 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- CeriStar, Inc.
(OTC Bulletin Board: CTRI), a leading Internet Protocol (IP) Network Service
Provider (IP-NSP) announced today that it has received a contract to build-out
the communication infrastructure and provide integrated voice, video and data
services for Pemberley at Robinson Grove, a new condominium community of
General Construction and Development, Inc.
Pemberley at Robinson Grove, located in American Fork, Utah, joins Canyon
Meadow, another CeriStar 'Smart' community in Provo, as a member of the most
technologically advanced residential communities in the state of Utah. The
new $22 Million residential community of 162 homes, offers its homeowners
'one-pipe' connectivity through an advanced fiber optic network to deliver up
to 50 times more bandwidth than standard cable or DSL connections.
CeriStar plans to deploy the Last Mile Link(TM) optical access system by
Wave7 Optics, Inc. as the fiber optic node for each home. Services delivered
through the fiber node will include 300 basic cable channels, 41 premium movie
channels, over 175 Video-on-Demand (VOD) movie choices, music channels, games
on demand, basic telephone services including Voice over IP (VoIP) and 8-15
Mbps of Internet and Data services. CeriStar's initial build-out portion of
the contract is valued at approximately $247,000 with estimated customer
service fees of $190,000/year upon project completion.
