new guarantee for business broadband service installation. The company has
moved its Professional Installation Service Guarantee for BellSouth(R)
FastAccess(R) Business DSL customers from 15 business days to five,
representing a 67 percent service improvement.

by backing our high-speed Internet service with a robust installation

When our customers have an Internet installation need, we want to ensure

BellSouth's new installation guarantee states that BellSouth will
complete professional install orders* for FastAccess Business DSL service
within five business days of the customer placing the order, and includes a
credit guarantee equivalent to three days of monthly recurring charges.
This latest service improvement follows enhancements made earlier this year
to BellSouth's repair guarantee, which moved repair intervals from 24 hours
to same-day.
More than 345,000 small business customers rely on FastAccess Business
DSL service to get and stay connected to customers and suppliers. "Each day
without a data connection could mean lost revenue and profits for our

that reassures our customers that their service will be connected quickly."
