The Gold Mining Episode of 'Tougher in Alaska', featuring Silverado
Gold Mines, will be rebroadcast on The History Channel on May 9th, 11th,
12th and 24th. Check your local listings for specific times.

'Everything is tougher in Alaska' is the central theme of the series.
Since the 1870s, the promise of gold has lured men north to Alaska. With
the price of gold skyrocketing, the race is on once again. The 'Tougher in
Alaska' film crews joined Silverado Gold Mines team of 'hard rock miners'.

Gil Dobbs, Silverado's Mine Manager, prominently featured in the
program, and his crew, are considered some of Alaska's toughest, most
experienced miners, often working in subzero temperatures, around the
clock, with 'super-sized' machinery specifically tailored to suit the
challenging environment.

"This program is great for Silverado", adds Garry L. Anselmo, President
and CEO of Silverado Gold Mines. "Not only are we pleased and proud to be
part of the fabulous 'Tougher in Alaska' series, but it gives our
shareholders, and would-be investors a chance to see the mining operation
itself. We are very much for real. It's a virtual visit to Silverado's
Nolan Creek Gold Mine in Alaska. And, quite frankly, it demonstrates how
exploration and mining is tough, especially in a challenging setting like
Alaska, but that there are rewards."

Bob Dynes, Silverado's Investor Relations, adds "Ever since I first
heard about the History Channel filming up at the mine, I have been
patiently waiting for the day when the show would air, and our shareholders
would see first hand a real gold mine in action. I just hope that our
shareholders, and their families, together, are able to watch this program,
and catch the excitement that Silverado is generating."
