Shane Minor Joins Shania Twain Tour

NASHVILLE, Tenn., May 9 /PRNewswire/ -- Mercury Nashville's bright new
star Shane Minor joins the last leg of Shania Twain's world tour. Minor's
first date with Shania will be May 14 in Kansas City, Missouri.
"What a thrill it is to be able to tour with a superstar like Shania,"
says Minor. "I've been a fan of hers since she first hit the scene. She is
the one who inspired me to do my own thing. I look forward to getting out
there and putting on a great show. I've never played in front of crowds like
that. It will be a rush and an honor."
Minor's agency, CAA, announced today that he has been confirmed to open 13
dates with more shows to be confirmed later. Shane joins Twain and current
opener Leahy as Shania wraps up her world tour which began in Canada last May.
"Shane has been selected to perform on most of the Shania concerts on this
May and June tour," explains Minor's booking agent, Ron Baird. "Shania has
not used another opening act besides Leahy and has chosen label mate Shane
Minor to perform at her upcoming concerts. Shane's high energy show makes him
a natural selection for this coveted spot."
The former Los Angeles police officer just released his self-titled debut
album May 13. His first single, "Slave To The Habit," is in the Top 30 and
quickly making its way up the charts.
