Human Code's Expertise in E-Learning and Smart Toys Demonstrated Through Interactive Web Site

What: Human Code, an Austin, Texas-based digital content studio,
exhibits its e-learning and smart toy expertise at E3 through
LeapZone.com, a project with LeapFrog(R), an educational toy
maker. The Web site, which includes e-commerce features, as
well as a dynamic user interface, will allow children to
download and upload content to and from LeapFrog's Internet
                Learning Appliances (hand-held educational toys).

There will also be a media briefing in the press room on
                May 12, 2000 at 10 a.m.

    Specifics: Through LeapFrog's MindLink(TM) technology, a competency
engine that provides personal adaptive learning through
performance assessment, content will be prescribed based on a
child's performance and interest. Children will be able to
continually download and upload new content to compliment
their strengths and improve on their weaknesses. Through the
Web site, children can learn at their own pace, and parents
will receive reports on their child's progress.
