Boise Office Solutions Is Only Vendor to Receive Perfect Score in JWOD
Evaluation for Outstanding Distributor
ITASCA, Ill., May 11 /PRNewswire/ -- The Committee that runs the federal
Javits-Wagner-O'Day (JWOD) Program to create jobs and training opportunities
for people who are blind or have severe disabilities has named Boise(R) Office
Solutions its Top Seller among commercial vendors for the second consecutive
year. JWOD also recognized the office products retailer as an Outstanding
Distributor for the sixth year in a row.
The JWOD program generates jobs for individuals who are blind or severely
disabled through federal government purchases of certain products and services
provided by non-profit agencies that employ blind and severely disabled
persons. The Committee for Purchase From People Who Are Blind or Severely
Disabled named Boise Office Solutions the JWOD Top Seller of 2003 for selling
more JWOD products than any other authorized distributor. Boise Office
Solutions also received the JWOD Top Seller distinction in 2002, the first
year the committee awarded the recognition.
Boise Office Solutions received a perfect score -- 115 out of 115 points
-- from JWOD during the committee's annual evaluations of authorized federal
JWOD distributors. Distributors were rated for their sales of JWOD products,
meeting mutually agreed upon sales objectives, timely submissions of sales
reports, and for replacing orders of commercial items with similar JWOD
products.
Boise Office Solutions also received extra merit for documenting its
marketing efforts to support JWOD sales, for placing JWOD orders
electronically, and for its ability to either employ people who are blind or
severely disabled, or to contract or subcontract with JWOD non-profit
agencies.
