RICHMOND, Va., May 11 /PRNewswire/ -- Tammy H. Cummings will join the
Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond as vice president of human resources for
the Fifth District, effective May 15. In this role, Cummings will be
responsible for the human resources function in the Richmond headquarters,
as well as the Bank's branches in Baltimore and Charlotte. Cummings, as
chief human resources officer, also will advise the Bank's leadership on
human resource initiatives, strategy and policy.
Prior to joining the Richmond Fed, Cummings was corporate vice
president of human resources for Richmond-based Tredegar Corp., a publicly
held global manufacturer of plastic films and aluminum extrusions. She
previously worked for several large and small businesses based in Richmond,
including Luck Stone Corp., Circuit City and GTE Corp.
A graduate of Virginia Commonwealth University, Cummings has a bachelor
of science degree and majored in mass communications. She has more than 20
years of business experience and expertise in human resources, corporate
communications and strategic planning.
Cummings and spouse Larry have two daughters, Samantha and Haley.
