EL SEGUNDO, Calif., May 11, 2007 /PRNewswire/ -- Raytheon Company
(NYSE: RTN) presented supplier excellence awards Wednesday to seven
companies for exceptional performance in 2006 for the company's Space and
Airborne Systems business, which reported sales of $4.3 billion for the
year.

Airborne Systems. "Men and women in uniform depend on our products to work

that commitment throughout 2006."
The suppliers were measured by such standards as quality and delivery
performance, customer satisfaction, and total business and financial
health. They were also judged by opinions of their performance gleaned from
Raytheon buyers who deal with them daily.
The honorees are Bob Lewis Machine Company Inc. of Gardena, Calif.;
Danish Aerotech of Ballerup, Denmark; Green Hills Software Inc. of Santa
Barbara, Calif.; Model Products Inc. of Albuquerque, N.M.; Century
Electronics of Westlake, Calif.; Shock Tech Inc. of Monsey, N.Y.; and
Thales Nederland BV of Hengelo, Netherlands.
Bob Lewis launched his company in 1976 in the garage of his home in
Torrance, Calif. Now located in a modern 10,000-square-foot facility in
nearby Gardena, this minority-owned business with 19 employees provides
precision parts for a variety of airborne programs.
Danish Aerotech specializes in producing mechanical and electronic
components, developing subassemblies for aircraft, helicopters, missiles
and targeting systems, and integrating modular systems. It also performs
aircraft maintenance, repair and overhaul services.
For more than a decade, Green Hills Software has provided systems for
mission-critical product lines. The contributions of Green Hills include
software development tools and certification and other consulting services.
Model Products, founded in 1971, is a woman-owned disadvantaged
business. Its 10 employees provide close-tolerance precision machining of
miniature to medium-size parts such as screws and specialized hardware for
various Raytheon programs in McKinney, Texas.
Century Electronics designs and manufactures power supplies, converters
and inverters for space and aerospace applications. Century is a prime
supplier for a Raytheon plant in Forest, Miss.
The 40 employees of Shock Tech make shock and vibration isolator parts
for Raytheon's Advanced Targeting Forward-looking Infrared pod. The ATFLIR
is a state-of-the-art airborne multi-sensor system that provides navigation
and targeting capabilities in a single pod.
Thales Nederland BV supplies major electro-mechanical assemblies for
various Raytheon programs located at McKinney. Founded in 1922, the
organization has maintained an outstanding on-time delivery and quality
rating for the past two years.
