GRC International Wins `Year 2000' Project With The George Washington University

VIENNA, Va., May 12 /PRNewswire/ -- GRC International (NYSE: GRH) today
announced it has been awarded a contract by The George Washington University
to address "Year 2000 compliance" issues for the University's core, mission-
critical financial applications. Under terms of the agreement, GRC
International's technical consulting staff will employ a full range of Year
2000 analytical tools and provide consulting and remediation work to enable
the University's financial computer systems to correctly process software
applications beyond the year 2000. The value of the contract was not
disclosed, but GRC International anticipates that it will require
approximately 87 man-months of effort between now and the conclusion of the
effort in 1999.
Specifically, GRCI will manage the acquisition, installation, testing, and
implementation of compliant operating and system support software for IBM and
Wang processors at the University. The company will also perform all data and
file conversions necessary for the compliant applications to run in production
mode.
GRC International President Gary Denman said, "We are very pleased to be
able to support The George Washington University on this Year 2000 compliance
project. Though we have been providing Y2K services for a number of years to
our federal government clients, this contract is a clear demonstration that
our strategy to grow our commercial business is a sound and achievable one. In
the future, contracts such as this can help us achieve our goal of double-
digit revenue growth and provide us with the potential to expand our margins
beyond those normally achievable in government markets."
Located four blocks from The White House, The George Washington University

from all 50 states, the District of Columbia and more than 100 countries.
