Glendale Organizations Awarded a Portion of Grand Opening Sales

    GLENDALE, Calif., May 12 /PRNewswire/ -- The Glendale WOW! MultiMedia
Superstore is kicking off its Summer Access Celebration, a summer-long series
of arts & entertainment events, by announcing that it will be supporting three
Glendale organizations with a portion of its Grand Opening sales.  The Grand
Opening weekend of the Glendale WOW! store is May 15 - 17.
    The WOW! MultiMedia Superstore will donate three percent of sales each day
during its Grand Opening to three local organizations.  Each organization will
also receive product donations.  The organizations are:

    *  The Brand Library and Arts Center in Glendale - WOW! will be providing
       computer equipment for public access, and camcorders to record artists'
       presentations.  Their artists will be performing and presenting in the
       WOW! Summer Access Celebration.

    *  The YWCA of Glendale - WOW! will be providing computers and software
       for the children to access the Internet and for doing their homework,
       as well as for computer skills training for mothers.  They will also be
       receiving camcorders for use in the WOW! Video Festival this summer.

    *  Glendale Youth Orchestra - WOW! will be providing camcorders for use in
       the Video Festival this summer.  The Orchestra will perform on Sunday,
       May 17 at the Glendale WOW! store, as well as throughout the summer.

    The donations will start off WOW!'s Summer Access Festival.  The summer-
long campaign will focus on funding education for the arts and entertainment,
as well as giving more kids access to the technology they need.  In addition,
the Glendale and Long Beach WOW! stores will be hosting a diverse mix of
music, dance, performance, film, video, and Internet groups throughout the
summer.  Many groups, like A Noise Within and Carolyn Krueger's Gulista, have
already signed up to perform throughout the summer at the stores.
    The Glendale WOW! is located at 142 South Brand Blvd.  WOW! MultiMedia
