New GameSpy LiveWire Chats Let Game Fans, for the First Time, Interact
Directly With Video Game Industry Giants on the Show Floor
IRVINE, Calif., May 12 /PRNewswire/ -- GameSpy Industries will be hosting
GameSpy LiveWire -- a series of live, interactive audio, graphic and text
chats from the trade show floor -- at the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3),
May 14 - 16, 2003, giving gamers the opportunity to interact directly for the
first time with the biggest newsmakers at the show.
The GameSpy LiveWire chats will feature video game business icons talking
and taking questions about breaking news and cool new games, as well as
discussions on hot topics in the industry such as trends in online gaming.
Gamers can check out screenshots and graphics from the most highly anticipated
games while they chat.
GameSpy editors, alongside top entertainment technology radio personality
David Lawrence, will host the chats. Confirmed guests include legendary
designers Peter Molyneux and Randy Pitchford who will showcase their much-
heralded new titles Black and White 2 and Halo (for the PC), respectively.
Will Wright, the creator of The Sims, will also be a guest, to discuss what's
coming in The Sims 2.
The chats also will include daily morning and mid-afternoon editorial
roundtables, where GameSpy editors will first forecast what they expect to see
each day, and then come back to recap their daily picks.

connections -- broadband and dial-up -- are supported.
The GameSpy LiveWire chats kick off at 9 a.m. on May 14, and run through
4 p.m. on May 15. A full schedule of GameSpy LiveWire chats will be available
at http://www.gamespy.com/e32003 . The chats also will be converted to MP3 files and
made available for later listening on GameSpy's E3 site.
GameSpy will have more than 80 editors and game community managers
