New Wireless Game Based on Highly Anticipated Film Makes its Debut at E3
LOS ANGELES, E3, May 12 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Thumbworks(TM), an
emerging innovator in the world of wireless publishing, today announced the
imminent release of Around the World in 80 Days, a wireless adventure game
developed for QUALCOMM's BREW solution and based on the feature film starring
Jackie Chan. The film, produced by Walden Media and distributed by Walt
Disney Pictures, opens in theatres nationwide on June 16. The wireless game
is expected to become available through various carriers around that same
time.
The Around the World in 80 Days game offers players the chance to assume
the role of Passepartout (Chan's character) as he tries to help Phileas Fogg
circle the globe in 80 days. Along the way, players will find themselves
battling villains and escaping peril in four of the films key locations:
Paris, India, China and New York. A player will have to use a combination of
agility and martial arts to prevail.

getting around the world in 80 days is easier said than done."
