Carolina Provider Outreach and Education (POE) Advisory Group.
The POE Advisory Group invited select members that represent key groups
from the provider's community to participate and assist in the creation,
implementation, and review of education strategies and efforts. The primary
function of the advisory group is to serve as a communication vehicle
between the South Carolina provider community and Palmetto GBA, the
Medicare Part B carrier. The POE Advisory Group provides input and feedback
on training topics, provider workshops and events. The group also
identifies education issues and recommends effective means of information
dissemination to appropriate providers, suppliers and their staff.
