LOS ANGELES, May 14 /PRNewswire/ -- Riverdeep, a leading publisher of
interactive products in the edutainment and productivity markets, today
announced they have entered into an agreement with DC Comics, a division of
Warner Bros. Entertainment Group, to develop and distribute Batman edutainment
CD-ROM games worldwide for the PC.
Under the terms of the agreement, Riverdeep will ship two titles, expected
to be in stores this holiday season. The software will combine exciting
kid-appropriate adventures, with robust interactive gameplay, to deliver
engrossing, action-packed mystery games to boys ages 7 to 10.
"Kids' entertainment software represents a large segment of the CD-ROM
market and one in which our presence is steadily growing," said Joe Roberts,

to partner with DC Comics with this opportunity to deliver software products

release Batman: Mystery of the Batwoman, a direct-to-video animated movie,
this fall.
