STUART, Fla., May 15 /PRNewswire/ -- Seacoast National Bank, the
primary operating subsidiary for Seacoast Banking Corporation of Florida
(Nasdaq: SBCF), is pleased to announce the election of Dennis Arczynski to
its board of directors. Mr. Arczynski was elected to the board on May 15.

Mr. Arczynski, until his recent retirement, was a national bank
examiner with the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency, (OCC). During
his tenure, he served in various managerial and examiner positions in OCC
headquarters in Washington, DC and in several OCC districts.
"His examining experience coupled with his supervisory responsibilities
as assistant director for Trust Operations; special assistant to the Senior
Deputy Comptroller (FFIEC liaison); associate director for financial
management (Financial and Systems Review) and field office manager (Miami
Field Office); makes him uniquely qualified to provide expert guidance in
risk management, corporate governance, and regulatory affairs", said Dennis
S. Hudson, III Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Seacoast.
Mr. Arczynski is a native of Baltimore, Maryland. He graduated from the
University of Maryland with a Bachelor of Science Degree in finance and
from Johns Hopkins University with a Master of Administrative Science
Degree in business. Mr. Arczynski is a long time Florida resident. He has
expertise in the credit risk management processes and commercial real
estate lending practices.
Prior to joining the OCC, Mr. Arczynski was a Bailiff with the District
Court of Maryland. He is married to Barbara Arczynski of Pittsburgh,
Pennsylvania. Their two daughters are teachers and Florida State University
graduates.
