Electronic Entertainment Show Coming to Los Angeles May 22-24

    LOS ANGELES, May 16 /PRNewswire/ -- G4(TM), the 24-hour, seven-day-a-week
television network that is the source of entertainment, news and information
for video game enthusiasts, will be dedicating 90 production and crew members
to covering all the excitement of the 8th Annual Electronic Entertainment Expo
(E3) next week. E3, which will be held May 22-24 at the Los Angeles
Convention Center, showcases the latest in electronic games and entertainment
and G4 will be there to capture all the news, celebrities and excitement.
"There's nothing like E3. It's massive and features the biggest players
in the game business," said Vinnie Longobardo, senior vice president,
programming, G4 Media. "Everyone pulls out all the stops to spotlight their
latest products and hottest games. This show is a fascinating array of sights

airing May 24 and May 31

To obtain this extensive coverage, G4 will install a broadcast booth on
the exhibit floor to conduct one-on-one interviews (Booth # 1086, South Hall),
dispatch 11 camera crews to cover the action as it happens and maintain a
mobile production facility directly outside the convention center.
In addition to covering the convention for its programming, G4 will also
distribute to convention-goers a limited edition 20-minute DVD, featuring
footage from the G4 television network premiere broadcast on April 30, 2002.
Leading interactive entertainment companies from around the world will
unveil more than 1,000 never-before-seen computer and video games and related
products at E3, according to the show's organizer, the Interactive Digital
Software Association (IDSA). In addition, the vast majority (80 percent) of
the show's approximately 400 exhibitors report that three-quarters of their
products debuting at this year's E3 will be on store shelves for the
