VSR 1000 Voice Services Router and CX Series Media Servers On Display at
                               Chicago Event

DANBURY, Conn., May 16 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- ThinkEngine Networks,
a Cognitronics company (Amex: CGN) and leading provider of call processing
technology, today announced that it will showcase its VSR1000 Enhanced
Voice Services Router and CX Series Media Servers at booth 68048 at the
upcoming GLOBALCOMM 2006, being held at McCormick Place in Chicago, from
June 4-8, 2006.
ThinkEngine's VSR1000 series represents a breakthrough in advanced
voice and media services for wireline, wireless, cable, and conference
service providers. This powerful, compact, economical platform empowers
carriers to deliver enhanced network services quickly and easily in both
TDM and IP networks, as well as in converged network environments. A
variety of services is available on the VSR1000, including conferencing,
speech recognition, an embedded TDM/IP gateway, transcoding, SIP server,
and a graphical Call Flow Designer.
The CX Series Network Media Servers are NEBS compliant, carrier class
platforms, which deliver the highest levels of performance and reliability.
Also of note, is that CX Series systems provide N+1 redundancy at the
component and system level providing a zero downtime environment in
properly configured redundant systems installations. The CX Series delivers
a full range of voice and media services solutions in both traditional
circuit switched networks, as well as advanced Voice-over-IP packet
switched environments.
"The future of telecom will be decided by our ability as an industry to
accept and encourage the full potential of converged communications
applications and services on a single network infrastructure," said Brian
Kelley, president and CEO of Cognitronics and ThinkEngine Networks. "The
coupling of ThinkEngine's advanced call processing technology, which
provides TDM to IP gateway, conferencing, media server and voice
recognition functionality into one platform, together with Cognitronics' CX
Network Media Servers not only embodies the future of converged
communications, but also has given us the means with which to establish a
strong leadership position in the market. As GLOBALCOMM 2006 is widely
recognized as one of the industry's leading venues, it represents an ideal
opportunity for us to inform our telecom customers and partners on the
breadth and depth of our unique offering."
Cognitronics Corporation acquired ThinkEngine Networks, Inc., on
November 22, 2005.
