ATLANTA, May 16 /PRNewswire/ -- The Southeast Chapter of the Legal
Marketing Association (LMA) announces the first ever Southeast LMA Day on
May 16 to recognize the work of its members in the legal marketing industry
in the region.
"Many attorneys are not aware of the LMA and the tremendous impact it
has on legal marketing both nationally and here in the Southeast," said
Erin C. Meszaros, Southeast Chapter President and Director of Marketing at
Powell Goldstein LLP in Atlanta. "We wanted to dedicate a day to recognize
our members and all that they do for the law firms in our region."
The Southeast Chapter is part of the LMA, a not-for-profit organization
dedicated to serving the needs and maintaining the professional standards
of the more than 2,400 individuals involved in marketing within the legal
profession.
Founded in 1997, the Southeast Chapter is one of the LMA's 16 chapters
and is the largest in the country with more than 350 members. Its members
come from firms ranging from small, local boutiques to large, international
law firms. Its mission is to provide cutting edge resources for its members
within the legal marketing community through continuing education,
professional support and networking. The chapter's region includes:
Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, South
