viewed the different games throughout the show. The winning games were
selected by the editors, from the list of nominees, at the conclusion of the
show.
"For the three days of the E3 Expo, the IGN.com editors have had the
privilege of playing thousands of outstanding new games, and the difficult
task of having to decide which ones are the best," said Simon Whitcombe, Vice
President of Networks, Snowball.com. "Based on the quality of games we have
seen at this year's E3 Expo and the new hardware systems being introduced,
this is sure to be a banner year in the gaming industry."
