IRVING, Texas, May 17 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Michaels Stores, Inc.
(NYSE: MIK) announced today that they will host their annual Summer Arts &
Crafts Camp from July 12 through July 16, 2004, at all Michaels Arts & Crafts
stores throughout the United States. There will be two daily sessions: from
9:30 to 11:30am for 5 to 8-year olds and from 1:30 to 3:30pm for 9 to 12-year
olds. The cost is $7.50 per session, or $30 for the entire week.
This year's theme, "Around the World with Crafts," will take youngsters on
a journey across different continents as they engage in crafts from a variety
of cultural backgrounds. Whether they enjoy painting on canvas or designing
their own paper, campers are sure to have fun as they learn and gain
confidence in their creative skills.
