Coleman Calls Innovation the 'Minnesota Motto'
MINNEAPOLIS, May 17 /PRNewswire/ -- Senator Norm Coleman proclaimed that
innovation and entrepreneurship are the keys to success for the American
economy at a Minnesota High Tech Association (MHTA) Spring Executive Briefing
on Friday, May 14. More than 100 technology-related executives attended the
event at the Minneapolis Club.
Coleman, who serves as a member of the Senate Committee on Small Business

"The greatest resource is our people," he said.
"Senator Coleman recognizes the importance of Minnesota's tech economy and
the research, education and infrastructure necessary to make it work," said
Kate Rubin, president of MHTA. "I'm particularly pleased that he highlighted
four companies that are leaders in innovation -- IBM, Medtronic, 3M & Midwest
Wireless -- all MHTA members."
