(NYSE: BOR) today named William J. Andres president of its Globe Aviation
Services unit, reporting to Jim McNulty, president of Borg-Warner Total
Security Solutions. In this capacity he will be responsible for the overall
management of the company's aviation security services unit. Globe Aviation
Services is one of the leading providers of human resources to the aviation
industry, providing over 20 different services at more than 60 airports
nationwide.
Prior to joining Borg-Warner, Andres was vice president and general
manager for Chicago-based LSG/Sky Chefs, the largest flight kitchen serving
the aviation industry. Previously, he served as president and chief executive
officer of Air Wisconsin/United Express, a regional airline with $250 million
in revenue and 1,600 employees based in Appleton, Wis. He began his career in
the aviation industry with United Airlines, where he held various executive
positions in sales, marketing and product development from 1963-1987.
