The Most Coveted Software and Information Industry Honor
SAN FRANCISCO, May 19 /PRNewswire/ -- Hundreds of software and information
industry executives honored their peers at the 19th annual presentation of the
Software & Information Industry Association's Codie Awards.

At a black-tie dinner and ceremony at the Palace Hotel, 44 Codie Awards
were presented to representatives of winning software, education technology
and digital content companies.

This year, over 600 companies submitted more than 800 nominations -- a
record-breaking year for the Codie Awards. First round judging was completed
by a broad panel consisting of representatives from the industry trade press,
mainstream technology writers and industry experts and analysts. Second round
judging was based on votes from SIIA members. Member companies are allotted
one vote per company in each Codie Award category.
A new logo and custom-designed trophy were also unveiled at the gala.
