DrugVoice Introduces IBSTracker to Study Changing IBS Marketplace

ANDOVER, Mass., May 19 /PRNewswire/ -- DrugVoice announces IBSTracker, a
new study exploring the dynamic IBS market. This study assesses the changing
attitudes and behaviors of 500 IBS patients over a one-year period. DrugVoice
is currently offering clients the option to pre-enroll in this project, with
substantial benefits.
Irritable Bowel Syndrome -- or IBS -- is gaining recognition as a common,
under-treated disorder that drives significant health care costs. Patients
with severe IBS face tremendous disruption in their lives, and experiment with
many therapies in their quest for relief.
The past eighteen months have seen many positive developments for the IBS
patient, including the availability of Zelnorm, the re-introduction of
Lotronex, positive trial results for cilansetron, and increased awareness due
to an extensive DTC campaign. With these changes and others on the horizon,
the IBS market has become much more dynamic. Patients and physicians are
being educated. Expectations are being raised. Attitudes and behaviors are
evolving, as well.
To help clients keep abreast of this rapidly changing market, DrugVoice is
initiating IBSTracker, a multi-client study with IBS patients. This study
will follow 500 diagnosed IBS patients on a longitudinal basis for one year.

IBSTracker delivers fresh insights on important issues such as:
     * How is the diagnosed patient population changing? What effect is
       advertising having?
     * What are current patient attitudes, and how are they changing?
     * How are patient-physician interactions and relationships changing?
     * What type of patient has tried new prescription therapies? What
       segments remain untapped?
     * What unmet needs remain? Why do patients abandon therapies?

DrugVoice offers IBS marketers the opportunity to pre-enroll as clients
for this study. Pre-enrolled clients will influence research questions,
receive customized analysis, and receive a 10% discount. To learn more,
