        Summer Drive and Save Program Offers $50 Gas Card for Guests

    DALLAS, May 19 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- hotels.com(TM), the leading
provider of lodging worldwide, today announced its Summer Drive and Save
program that offers a $50 gas card for each booking of three nights or
more. A hotels.com survey conducted by Harris Interactive(R) shows that
rising gas prices are impacting summer travel. According to the poll, 41
percent of U.S. adults with summer travel plans saying they intend to visit
destinations closer to home, and 35 percent planning to reduce their
budgets for food and fun while on vacation. By offering the $50 gas card --
along with hundreds of specials in favorite destinations -- hotels.com is
helping travelers stretch their vacation dollar.

    "This is the fourth consecutive year in which hotels.com has offered a
summer gas program, and we hope it will provide some relief to travelers as
they continue to feel the squeeze of rising gas prices," said Scott Booker,

    To qualify for the Summer Drive and Save program, travelers should note
the following:


* Book now through July 6, 2008 for travel through September 1, 2008. * A minimum stay of three nights is required; there is no limit to the number of gas cards individuals can receive as long as the minimum stay requirement is met for each booking. * Thousands of properties are available for booking, including traditional hotels, vacation rentals, bed and breakfasts, and all- inclusive resorts. * The gas card may be combined with other hotels.com promotions, including Red Hot Deals (http://www.hotels.com/deals?id=HotDeals?&tab=deals). * Cards will be mailed to guests upon completion of their stay.
