In Equinix's Network Rich Environment
SINGAPORE, May 20 /Xinhua-PRNewswire/ -- Equinix, Inc. (Nasdaq: EQIX), the
leading provider of network-neutral data centers and Internet exchange
services, today announced that Aicent, Inc., a leading provider of mobile data
network services and solutions for global mobile operators, has deployed a
network point-of-presence within Equinix's Singapore Internet Business
Exchange(TM) (IBX(R)) center. This strategic deployment into Equinix's
neutral Internet hub will allow Aicent Inc. to enhance their connectivity
infrastructure by directly interconnecting with the aggregation of leading
network service providers and other businesses operating within the Singapore
IBX.
Aicent's innovative mobile data services build a bridge between the IP
world and the wireless world, delivering powerful wireless communications
services to mobile operators, Internet service providers, and enterprise
customers. The company operates one of the world's largest GPRS Roaming
Exchange Node (GRX) networks with direct connections to approximately 30
