Aerospace/Defense Analyst Makes Debut on Annual List
NEW YORK, May 21 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Alex Hamilton, Senior
Analyst at Jesup & Lamont, Inc. (jesuplamont.com) (Amex: JLI), a full
service brokerage firm and one of America's oldest investment banks, was
honored in the Wall Street Journal's "Master Stock Pickers" as one of the
top five aerospace/defense analysts of the year. Hamilton was selected
based on the success of the stock picks he made during 2007.
The list, released on May 19th, featured the top five analysts in
categories including banks, software, telecommunications, real estate,
retail, and more. Performance scores were based on the estimated total
return of eligible stocks covered by an analyst, including price changes
and dividends. The number of stocks covered by each analyst was also taken
into account. The top five in each industry had the highest return yield on
"buy" ratings and, in turn, for "sell" rated stocks," a positive score was
rewarded for a negative total return.
